Happy Birthday Jack!

Jack is 2 years old today! We had his party a couple of weekends ago and he had a great time. Everytime we go somewhere with lots of people (church, a Christmas party, etc.) Jack says "My party!" It's really cute, he now thinks every gathering is his party :) We are celebrating his birthday today with his gift from us (a little scooter) and Santa's visting overnight to fill our stockings, since we won't actually be home on Christmas Day. Jack's class

Jack is taking a couple of classes this session and loves it. here are some pictures from his class at the parks district. After class we go to lunch with our friends at a nearby restaurant. It's nice to have time for Jack to be out and I can catch up with other mom's. Jack is not having too much trouble with the terrible two's yet but I can see it coming once in awhile! He is beginning to talk a lot. He also likes to sit on his "potty" the last couple of days- sometimes naked, sometimes with a diaper on. We'll see what comes of that- my expectations are very low since boys are much later potty trainers than girls.

More Halloween Fun

We went trick or treating (twice!) and Jack loved it....here are some fun pictures. Oliver went with us at night in our neighborhood and that morning we went to a business trick-or-treat very close to where we live. It was lots of fun and Jack loved getting suckers (which he calls Kuckers)!

We spent the afternoon carving pumpkins with our friends and neighbors- Pam, Travis and Oliver. The boys had a lot of fun and we ended up with some pretty cool pumpkins. I am excited for Jack's first "real" halloween of trick or treating and going to neighborhood stuff!

Jack likes to eat popsicles and also feed them to Daddy. Here are some pictures. The picture of him smiling and looking silly is what he does now when I say "smile for the camera". It's really cute!

Camping and July 4th

Jack went on his first camping trip this past weekend in celebration of the holiday and to see some of our family that we hadn't seen in awhile (the Miller side). He was so happy to be outside and he enjoyed sleeping with Gran and Pa in the RV (mommy and daddy enjoyed sleeping in the tent, especially when Pa would get up early and play with Jack and let us sleep!). Jack was so dirty and he loved it, he looked like Pigpen from Charlie Brown....here are some pictures from the weekend (trying ice cream for the first time, riding the wagon and others!). Enjoy!

Jack is getting big!

Jack is growing fast and loves playing, running and climbing. We went to the zoo last weekend and he really liked the animals. Jack also got to go to Cincinatti for a wedding and meet his newest second cousin, Olivia (he liked giving her kisses!). Here are some recent pictures- sorry its taken so long!

Soccer and Boots

Here are a few recent picture from Jack at his soccer class and also wearing some new rainboots that his Gran got him. He LOVES the boots and insists on wearing them and gets mad if we try to get him to wear shoes instead....thanks Gran :)

What a nice day!

It was such a nice day out today, I think it got up to 70! The sun was shining so we decided to go to the park- Jack loves the slides! Here are some pics of him sliding...

Easter Egg Hunt and Playing outside!

The mom who hosted our playgroup today had an Easter egg hunt in her backyard and Jack really enjoyed it. He found two eggs- one with stickers and one with cheerios! We also had fun playing with Maggie (and Jack's friends Olli and Bailey) in the front yard this afternoon. Maggie got a good owrkout chasing the ball that Jack kept throwing at her.

So we gave Jack tomato soup with his favorite cracker's today with grilled cheese and he really liked it. I think he liked playing with it more than eating it. Enjoy!

Updates...

Well, we are back in the swing of things. We got back from Ohio after meeting Jack's new cousin, Emily! And we had a great time with Mallory, Tori, Auntie Lindsay, Uncle Joe, Gran and Pa, Heather and Jack's Godparents, Jen and Ian. It was nice to see everyone and catch up! This week has been very busy for us so we are happy that there are no big plans for the weekend....Also, I thought it would be fun to check out how much Jack has grown so I have uploaded a picture from almost exactly a year ago...enjoy!

Going-ons...

So, Jack has had some fun happenings in the last few weeks- we had a visit from Granny and Pa, lots of fun! He has also figured out how to climb on stuff to look out the window (harmless for now :) and he loves sitting in his rocking chair (mine from when I was little!). Here are some new pictures, enjoy!
